I feel most comfortable with teaching the History and Social Studies literacy and competence standards outlined in the ELA guidelines. History has always been my forte. I would do well with relaying those standards and outlines to my students. The core functions outlines in the Social Studies/History concepts are disciplines that I would be strong in teaching my students, and getting them prepared for college and beyond. Standards that I would have to work on would be the Science standards and mathematics courses. The Stem courses are one that I have always had trouble with, and would require more work on my parts before I could impart valuable knowledge to my students. CPALMS is a online workshop and toolkit that is a wealth of standardized information for Florida students and teachers. It a font of knowledge and information. It is an official source of information ordained by Florida. I would use the Social Studies toolkit and the Foreign language toolkits for both my own studies a...

I have always used Microsoft word as the template for my homework, research notes, and essays. I have always used the Microsoft windows system so I have never had to use the Apple notes equivalent to Microsoft word. I greatly enjoy the schematics behind the program, and have become adept with how to enhance my presentations and work with tools provided by the word program. Many of their in class handouts with priority notes have been on the Microsoft word program. I have never had a teacher using anything but word for class. I feel that the Word program is the standard for education, and businesses format. While Apple does have its equivalent prog...

Technology enhances the already present tools teachers use in there classrooms, like attendance sheets, assignment scoring records, and communication with students and parents.     When thinking about the ISTE standards that students and teachers are presented with, one that falls into the category of a standard that I posses is the "Global Collaborator". I have had much experience with understand what is going on in the world and  how that effects certain students of different backgrounds, i.e.: race and ethnicities. Another ISTE skill standard that would not be considered my strong suit would be the "Innovative Designer". I am in no way a engineer in any of the "Stem" fields, but I can problem solve and troubleshoot; however, finding new designs and new technology to improve already existing platforms would not be consider...
