     The "Flipped Classroom Approach" or the transition from outside the traditional learning environment for students can be effective in the edification process. One reason is because this instruction is often done online, which now can aid many students who need to have their schooling done online. People who work, have a family, or those far away from a college might benefit from these type of learning strategies.
     The OER, or the Open Education Resources, is an online data base that has archive various course materials, structures, and modules for a wide range of curriculums. It is a vast wealth of knowledge that teachers and other instructors could use in their endeavor in the classroom. A teacher could easily enhance their lesson with consulting with OER.
     I have always enjoyed making power points. I took a CIS class at my first college and learn a lot from its guides. I however have not retained that knowledge. With the additional updates that Microsoft has conducted it was hard navigating through the program, but now I am back into the swing of things and becoming some what proficient.

  1. OER is not any specific site and definitely not an database. It is a type of educational resources that is open to the public with the emphasis on (1) open access and (2) intellectual property protection. Therefore, a teacher can use OER for planning and also as part of their instruction. A student can also use OER to support his/ her own learning.
